The privacy of our donors, volunteers, and those clients whom we serve is important to Community Brickworks. This Privacy Policy describes the practices of how we collect and use certain personally identifiable information. This Policy may be changed or updated from time to time.
Information We Collect
When you make a donation, or register as a volunteer, or register for events through our website https://www.communitybrickworks.org, Community Brickworks collects personally identifiable information, such as your email address, name, home or work address or telephone number. Community Brickworks is the sole owner of the information collected on our website and information collected through offline means. When you provide your personal information, it is used only for the purpose for which you provide it or as otherwise described below.
Use of your Personal Information
Community Brickworks uses your information to:
- process your donation;
- send information and thank you notes pertaining to your donations;
- respond to your inquiries, requests, or applications;
- communicate information about upcoming fundraising events;
- create an aggregated data set; and
- deliver services you may have requested.
Community Brickworks does not sell, share or trade our donor names or personal information with any other entity, nor do we send communications to our donors on behalf of any other organization.
To administer its T-ball program and other events, Community Brickworks shares volunteer information and client information such as your name, child-participant’s name, and e-mail address, with trusted partners. All such third parties are prohibited from using volunteer and client personal information except to provide the event services for Community Brickworks, and they are required to maintain the confidentiality of your information.
In addition, Community Brickworks may share aggregated client data, that does not reveal individual information, for grant applications or to receive other assistance in delivering Community Brickworks’ services.
No Use of Cookies
Community Brickworks does not use cookies or other technologies to obtain information from website visitors.
Security of your Personal Information
Community Brickworks takes commercially reasonable measures to secure your personal information from unauthorized access, use or disclosure. Your personal information is contained within secured networks and is only accessible by a limited number of persons who have special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential. When personal information (such as a credit card number) is transmitted to our payment processing service, it is protected through the use of encryption and your full financial information, including credit card number, is not shared with Community Brickworks.
Community Brickworks maintains a paper copy of client provided information for two years and then shreds and discards those documents.
Any paper copy of donor, client, or volunteer information is stored in a secured and locked location when such documents are not in use by Community Brickworks’ authorized personnel.

Your privacy is important to Community Brickworks.
